Members of the Baskin Equity management team bring a wide range of experience and expertise to retail, green energy opportunities, real estate development and property management.

Cary Baskin - President:
Cary grew up in a retail environment and was greatly influenced by his father and mother, Don and Annita Baskin, who in 1972, became founders of the Baskin's Dept. Stores group, which was a Texas based junior department store chain, until being sold in 2004.  They are still involved in the family business and operate their own portfolio of commercial real estate properties. Cary always likes to thank and honor his parents for their love, great influence and direction in his life.
His wife, Mary, has worked many years in the business with him, and has played a major role in managing and overseeing many critical departments within the company's various ventures.  They have started and helped start multiple churches and continue to pastor Family Life Church in Livingston, Texas, which they started in 2010.  Cary is grateful for his wife's tireless efforts to support him in each endeavor.
With a well-rounded background in retail, finance, real estate and other investments, Cary is positioned to lead BE’s team into the future. He is also a major stockholder in a publicly traded green energy lighting and solutions company with clients such as McDonalds, Sherwin Williams, H&M Dept Stores, Sprouts Grocery and many others.
Cary works to blend the talents of everyone in the group into one efficient, effective team, utilizing everyone's individual abilities.

Brit Smith Baskin:
Brit is responsible for all tasks required to help create and manage residential properties including long term leasing developments as well as single family residential construction and development. She also manages the leasing and accounting for all of BE's residential properties and is involved in most aspects of the company’s activities, including property management, acquisitions, leasing, construction, due diligence, financial analysis input, development input, market analysis feasibility input for new projects and helps in handling property management for existing properties. Steven Smith:
Steven is responsible for CAD layout of projects, engineering and planning oversight and working with Brit to completion of projects. He brings a wealth of engineering and technology knowledge to the team. Steven is also involved in most aspects of the company’s activities, including property management, acquisitions, leasing, construction, due diligence, financial analysis input, development input, market analysis feasibility input for new projects and helps in handling property management for existing properties.

Trey Baskin:
Trey is responsible for the oversight of all property's maintenance and upkeep, both residential and commercial as well as site development. He also helps oversee projects with a strong work ethic and keen eye to getting the job done right. Trey also is involved in most aspects of the company’s activities, including property management, acquisitions, leasing, construction, due diligence, financial analysis input, development input, market analysis feasibility input for new projects and helps in handling property management for existing properties.
